THE SHAMROCK CLUB IRISH MUSIC FESTIVAL

With a last name of "Irish", you can bet your bottom dollar that we’d belong to an outfit like the "Shamrock Club of Columbus"; a large, vibrant, and fun loving segment of Columbus' population that gathers regularly to enjoy all things "Irish"~ especially Irish MUSIC ~ especially the “Sessions” at the “Pub”!

One of the many activities to be enjoyed is the Shamrock Club's Annual Irish Music Fest; two days of wonderful Irish Music, Dancing and many Irish entertainers to fill your cup to the brim with merriment. This July was no exception! This is two fun-filled days of Irish Music, dancing, food, crafts and fellowship.... all in a family setting that provides a grand time for ALL from the youngest to the oldest! Just look at the pictures to see that!

Bob and Ann Carney “crossed the pond" from County Meath, Ireland, and brought with them, 15 Irish dancers to give us a lively show of how they do it on the Emerald Isle. The Club's three stages were "booked" solid with the Carney dancers and a variety of musicians to suit most every taste -- so long as yer taste is "Irish"!
